Most resources have a Debug option that will enable additional logging. This can be very useful during development and can often be used to resolve simple problems such as a malformed query.
For example, when the Debug option is enabled for a Database Resource any query exececuted will be written to the log.
Email Resources do not have a Debug option. Email Accounts, however, do have a Debug option that can be enabled via the Server Admin App.
