The Workflow Test Harness 
can be used to test a Workflow Process. It allows the designer to step through the process setting attribute values and selecting Completion States at each step to ensure that all routes through the process behave as expected.
To open a test Workflow Job for a process, click the Start button.
The parameters of the first task are presented in the bottom left-hand panel. For each interactive task you are required to enter any output parameter values and select a Completion State before clicking the Complete task and step button to move on to the next step.
The task which you are currently running is marked with 
on the process diagram and the tasks which have been completed are marked with 
.
Once you have successfully stepped through to the end of the job, click Finished to close the Test Harness.
Workflow functionality including escalators and subprocesses can also be emulated using the Workflow Test Harness.
