Service Plan Backups


All Service Plans are backed up automatically. Verj.io Support can help with restoring a backup.

The application and its databases are still available during the backup.

Database Backups

All Service Plan Application Databases are backed up daily. These backups are stored with your Service Plan but are not accessible via SFTP.

Remote Backups

All Service Plans are backed up daily and sent to a secure remote storage location in the same region as the Service Plan (for example, if a Service Plan is based in the UK, then the remote backups are also stored in the UK).

A remote backup:

  • Includes the Service Plan’s Application Filesystem as well as all its Application Databases.
  • Is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Is retained for 4 days.

Requested Backups

Application Database backups can be requested from the Service Plan’s details page on the Cloud Portal. Once the backup is complete, it is available in the backups directory of the Application Filesystem.
